1. For the virtual sessions, will online learning resources be provided? 

Yes. All the learning resources will be provided online by IMERSA. You should also keep pens, pencils, notebooks, and paper close at hand for the activities. Further information will be provided by IMERSA once you have completed the registration process. 
 
2.  Do I need to travel to Ottawa or Canada?
 
No. IMERSA is an online program. You will need a computer or a tablet, headphones, a camera, a microphone, and a good (ideally high-speed) internet connection.  
 
3.  Are there registration fees?
 
Yes; the total amount in $1495.00 CAD. This amount must be paid directly to La Cité in order to reserve and confirm your place with IMERSA. 
 
4.  Interactions between participants
 
At La Cité, we understand the importance of connecting with other participants. Therefore, our live classes and workshops have small class sizes in order to maximize the amount of interaction possible. You will also have the opportunity to engage in our virtual community when you wish. You can create friendships that last a lifetime.
5. The online learning experience with IMERSA! 
 
Welcome to the new online learning experience with the mobile apps Teams and Pulse.
 
The mobile experience is optimised to offer you a complete learning experience that allows you to connect from anywhere, with any mobile device. You can stay connected with your class or participate in a workshop while enjoying the lovely weather outside!

 
 
6. Classes and workshops

Our classes and workshops are led by our experienced and engaging instructors. Our conversation workshops will also provide opportunities to practice communicating in English or French.  

 
7. What is the schedule for IMERSA?
 
The exact schedule can vary from one day to the next and can last several non-consecutive hours, Monday to Friday. You can expect about three hours/day, including about two hours of class with an instructor and one hour of interactive workshops. 
 
Certain learning and sociocultural activities can take place during the day or in the evening in order to adapt to various time zones. Once registered, you will receive the final schedule by email. 
 
Sample schedule for classes and workshops: 
Monday - Thursday: 
Classes:                            11:00 - 12:30
Workshops:                       1:00 - 2:00
Sociocultural activities:      in the evening (optional)

 
 
8. Recording classes
 
In order to maximize interaction and engagement during classes and workshops, it is not permitted to record virtual sessions. Recordings will be provided to participants only in exceptional cases. 
Attendance for classes and workshops is required.
