CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONCOURS EXPLORE 2021
By entering the Contest, each participant accepts the Terms and Conditions.
This Contest is only open to participants who have registered and who have completed one of Explore's 2021 language immersion programs at La Cité. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. La Cité employees or members of their household cannot participate. The number of prizes to be awarded and their approximate value is indicated on the web page of explorelacité.ca
Prizes must be accepted as-is and cannot be replaced, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. At its sole discretion, La Cité reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent monetary value if the prize, or part thereof, cannot be awarded as described. La Cité will cover the delivery costs of the prize. Any other costs or expenses associated with the prize will be the responsibility of the selected entrants.

La Cité reserves the right to end, suspend or modify this competition, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation.
To be declared a winner, the selected entrants must:
- Sign the Contest Declaration and Release Form
- Comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- Be present (in telepresence mode) during the draw day.
By participating in this Contest, participants agree that La Cité and its partners have no responsibility for, and will be held harmless by opposing participants, any liability for any injury (including death), loss or damage of any kind (including, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages) to persons or property resulting from the Contest or the prizes, including the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes.
Also, by participating in this Contest, participants agree that La Cité and its partners, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have no responsibility of any kind whatsoever for access and use of the Contest website or from the La Cité site, or for any claim based on personality or rights to privacy or defamation.
By entering the Contest, the winners authorize La Cité to use their name and/or their declaration concerning the prize without any compensation, in advertisements exclusively related to the Contest on social networks or other media.
Terms and conditions
By entering the Contest, each participant agrees that La Cité has made no warranty, representation, or warranty, express or implied, in fact, or law, concerning the prize(s).
Winning any of the prizes is contingent on meeting all of the conditions set forth herein.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. La Cité does not apply one of the provisions of these general conditions does not constitute a waiver of this provision.
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada. Each entrant agrees, to the extent permitted by law, that any legal proceedings relating to any dispute, claim, or cause of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest will be conducted in the Province of Ontario under the laws of this province.
Selection of winners
The draws will take place at the college on July 28 at around noon (EST) and will be broadcast live on one of the college's virtual platforms. The draws will be made among all eligible participants in the French and English language immersion programs who have completed their programs during the scheduled period of five (5) weeks.
The winners will be contacted on the day of the draw by email or private message. The winners will be announced on La Cité's social network and the Explore Program following the draw.

Unless otherwise authorized by the entrant, any personal information provided by the entrant (other than the entrant's name and the prize statement which may be used as described in the “Advertising” section below) when entering the Contest will be used only by La Cité.
